Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel is conveniently situated surrounded by plenty to do and is perfect for exploring central Edinburgh. The rooms, although a bit dark, are great for a good night's sleep, but the bathroom lighting could be improved. The service was exceptional and always helpful. The location is superb for accessing all the attractions in central Edinburgh. The dining options were tasty, but improvements can be made. Overall, a good value for money stay with some room for enhancement.
Staying in the 'club deluxe' room, I found the hotel to have dark rooms with not enough light near the mirrors for getting ready. The lighting definitely needs improvement, and the rooms being on different levels can be a bit inconvenient. Despite these drawbacks, the service provided by Laura, the bar manager, and the rest of the staff was exceptional, making my stay enjoyable and hassle-free. The location is top-notch for both business and leisure travelers, with tourist buses stopping right in front of the hotel and plenty of shops and restaurants within easy reach. The dining experience, particularly the continental breakfast, had its ups and downs, with a slightly higher price tag for what was offered. The facilities overall were satisfactory.
Staying at this hotel was quite an experience. The rooms, while dark and stunning, lacked some practical touches, and our small room had no view, which was not made clear during booking. On the bright side, the service was excellent, with attentive and helpful staff coming to take my breakfast order straightaway. The location was top-notch, ideal for both business and tourists, right in the middle of where we wanted to be. The dining, although only continental and somewhat lacking, was better on some days than others. Overall, a good stay with a few drawbacks to be aware of.
My stay at this hotel was overall great, but one thing that stood out for me was the uneven levels in the rooms. Despite this, the positive aspects like the convenient location and helpful service really made my experience memorable.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need, but unfortunately, the noise from delivery lorries and late-night arrivals was quite disruptive. The city center location was great for exploring on foot, however. The service was friendly and helpful, although some factors were beyond the hotel's control. Price could be a consideration for some amenities. The dining experience had its ups and downs, and the fun interior design added character to the location.
The hotel was lovely, though the room didn't match the photo; it was still very nice. The service was top-notch, with staff being very helpful and attentive. The location was superb, right in the heart of the city, perfect for exploring. Overall, a great stay with minor drawbacks.
